In 1985 Glenda Peters won the first edition of the 'Soundmixshow' a talentscouting program on Dutch Television.
Following this success Glenda's professional career took of. Her first solo single 'Since you came into my life' entered several European charts. Because of her success Narada Michael Walden, producer songwriter for Whitney Houston and Patti Austin, wrote the song 'U do Voodoo' especially for Glenda Peters. This song turned out to be a huge hit-sinlge in the Spanish club-circuit.
Her album 'Never leave you again' sold very well in Holland and was chosen 'Best album of the week' by the Veronica deejayes. In Holland and Belgium Glenda's New Beat song 'Never let me down' turned out to be a modest hit-single.
Glenda Peters represented The Netherlands in entering successfully the international singing-contest. She refused offers to join up with top-acts as 'Mai Tai' and 'Boney M.' because she felt more for a solo-career.
In 1994 she met producer/songwriter Frank Pels, he had worked successfully with bands like 'The Sonic Surfers', 'Pels Syndicate' and was on an European tour with 'Womack & Womack' as a musician/keyboard player. He was the one who introduced Glenda Peters to her new manager. Together they worked successfully on her new image as a dance & house performer. Glenda can work solo as well with a rapper or two dancers. Her experience will guarantee a show which is able to compete with all European acts. We expect her new single in june 1996.
In june of '95 Glenda Peters was on minitour in Pori, Finland together with "2 Brothers on the 4th Floor" and "Cappella".
Today Glenda perform also as vocal entertainer with own floor-show with here large repertoire, from up to date popular music to the top 100 of "all times" |
