Emerald Jade, International Recording Artist, is a singer, songwriter, producer, and developer of talent.
She was nominated for The Best Female Jazz Vocalist of 2007 (ABMA), and The Best Female Neo Soul Artist of 2008,  held in Las Vegas, and has performed at 5 star hotels internationally for several years.
Emerald Jade co-owner of Breeze Records in Las Vegas with her husband Craig Monroe, is a Gary, Indiana native, she may be a stranger to you, but she is no stranger to the music business.
As the matriarch of the Powell family, she's developed and watched over the second biggest musical clan to come out of Gary, IN (the Jacksons being the first).
Her daughters Trina and Tamara released a Platinum Hit song "My Love is The Shhhh" in 1999, and her son Jesse Powell has been a successful Soul artist for the better part of the last decade, he released the Gold Hit song "YOU". Emerald promoted talent and performed locally in Gary, Chicago, Milwaukee and, later on, in Philadelphia, New York, and international as well.
