Amandah was born in San Francisco. Passionate
about music, self taught singer, guitarist and piano player she
performed at piano bars and jazz jams to perfect her trade.
In
Portland, Oregon she recorded a demo with bassist Leroy Vinnegar's
trio featuring Geoff Lee on piano and Mel Brown on drums; in
1994 she sang the National Anthem at an NBA Portland Trailblazer
game where there was a huge crowd.
Amandah was offered an opening
for Charlie Byrd which led to a major career altering decision
by accompanying herself on piano. In 1998 she recorded her first
CD which had great reviews and led to other recordings of standards
which showed her wonderful ability to bring out the emotion of
classic tunes.
Amandah has a wonderful personality, is fun , she always makes
sure the crowd is involved and has a good time. Her music is
amazing but nothing compares to seeing her live.
She loves to

tremendously.
