Greg Lupton is a dynamic pianist with a style
based upon the great American piano styles.
Boogie Woogie, Blues, Jazz, Ragtime, Dixieland, Stride and Barrel
House. Greg just calls it Honky Tonk, because it is exciting
and constantly moving.
Greg’s incredible versatility allows him to easily blend
these styles into popular music creating an entertaining evening
of Piano music.
Elton John, Billy Joel, Beatles, Country, Soul, R&B, 50’s & 60’s
are a part Greg’s repertoire, with the added benefit of
Standards, and Folk music depending on the audience.
Greg Lupton has performed on a host of cruises, Las Vegas as
a solo Artist, and has also performed for Presidential Inaugurals.
Born and raised in Baltimore, Md., Greg started out in local
bands playing the hits of the day, and later moving to Los Angeles
where he performed and/or recorded with Artists like: Shaka Kahn,
Delaney Bramlett & Friends, Vince Gill, and others. While
in the country vain, Greg was fortunate to pen a song that made
it’s way into a Paul Reiser Movie called “Odd Jobs.”
Greg now lives in Maryland, and travels about performing his
American Genres series at Community Concerts throughout the States,
and has recently begun to venture into worldwide venues.
