To Louie, music is very powerful magic capable of sparking and generating, healing, enlightenment, unity, self-realization in the listener.
His love and devotion to the art of making music was forged from an early age. Growing up first in Washington D.C. and later in the San Francisco Bay Area Louie was exposed to live performances of Duke Ellington, Wes Montgomery, Ella Fitzgerald, Jimi Hendrix, Rahssan Roland Kirk, Pharoah Saunders, Chick Corea, Pat Martino and Bay Area legends Eddie Marshall and Ed Kelly.
In fact his first professional gig was with Ed Kelly, Harley White and Smiley Winters at Esthers Orbit Room in Oakland, California at age 19.
Performing music has given him the chance to travel the world and that constantly opens my eyes to the new paradigms.
